Snowflakes on Mulberries (Knitting)

The picture is of the sample pieces made for me by Rebecca before Stitch & Craft 2011. (Coming soon, I need to take a decent picture of them!)

Rebecca wanted to do a hat & scarf set in recycled sari silk and so the first thing she did was a hat called ‘Snowflakes on Mulberries’  on a 6.5mm circular needle (she chose a 120cm circ – long enough to knit in ‘magic loop’).

However, she thought that the end result was a tad too slouchy so  knitted it again on a 5mm needle (again 120cm long) which is more of a match for the pattern’s given gauge.
