Silk isn’t inherently elastic, so Jenny has used some cunning lace techniques to build stretch into this pattern.

She notes that these fingerless gloves are “knit in the round on double pointed needles for a seamless finish and a great fit. The stitch pattern is very easy and looks really pretty, especially in this yarn which is spun smoothly so has a lovely lustre and won’t pill or fluff excessively obscuring the stitch definition.”
